Questions?
Honest Answers.
The things Magnolia parents ask us every week. If we missed yours, just ask — we respond in minutes during business hours.
+ What age can my child start?
Kids Martial Arts is built for ages 5–12, and our Adult Martial Arts program welcomes ages 13 and up. Not sure where your child fits? Give us a call — we'll match them perfectly.
+ Is martial arts safe for kids?
Yes. Classes are supervised by experienced black belts, contact is controlled and age-appropriate, and every drill is taught progressively. Safety gear is used for any contact work.
+ What if my child is shy or not athletic?
That's who benefits most. We start where your child is, celebrate small wins, and never single anyone out. Most shy kids are participating confidently within a few weeks.
+ What happens in the intro class?
You'll meet an instructor, tour the dojo, and your child joins a real class at their level. Afterward we talk through goals and schedule — no pressure, no long presentation.
+ How much does it cost?
The New Student Experience is $29 and includes two weeks of unlimited classes plus an official uniform. Ongoing tuition depends on the program and schedule you choose — we'll go through it plainly at your visit.
+ Do I need a uniform to start?
No. Wear comfortable workout clothes to your first class. Your uniform is included with the intro offer.
+ Can parents watch class?
Always. We have a viewing area and encourage parents to stay — kids train harder when you're watching.
